First Look | Collection 005
Collection 005 features new and revisited styles that have been made in new and standard fabrics. ‘The Karl Coat’ & ‘Childhood Jacket’ are both available in a wool mix from Italy which has lots of texture. One of the ideas with An Irrational Element was to showcase the changes a piece of clothing undergoes when the textile changes. Though last year both styles were also produced in a plaid (Harris Tweed) this plaid not only has a different look but also the feel and wear has changed.
A new style is the ‘Poet Shirt’, a shirt made from an Italian wool mix as well, which features an inside pocket. The shirt is a classic design updated with the essence of poetry by the addition of a poetic fabric and the inside pocket that hints to the utilitarian needs of a writer.
