Monochrome Impressions

With an astounding gaze An Irrational Element witnessed the very first field of the N70 route of Berg en Dal and would a long the way encounter unorthodox hills, picturesque towns and cows spotlighted by rays of sun, bursting through the November clouds. Unorthodox since The Netherlands is known to be very flat and this trail’s domain is far from flat. Route N70 is a 16 kilometer long walking trail with many ascends and descends showing off meadows, forests and towns a long the way. Equipped with snacks, water, warm clothes and a Nikon F5 loaded with a monochrome film by Film Washi, we started our afternoon walk full of new impressions.

The result of our images taken during the trail, are high contrast black and white images displaying the route and its ambiance through the An Irrational Element lens.
